The RLC, in cooperation with Sparkasse Vest Recklinghausen, is organizing an evening run in the summer. Participants can run 5 km or 10 km on two or four laps in the Hohenhorster Forest, which are officially measured and therefore eligible for rankings. This year, the district championships for 10 km will also take place as part of the evening run. The event will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, and registration is open until October 26, 2025.
Highlights
- There are two main courses: a 5 km route for runners aged 10 and up, starting at 7 PM, and a 10 km route for runners aged 12 and up, beginning at 8 PM.
- Both courses are fast, flat, newly paved, and illuminated.
- The timing is done with a disposable chip, which is included in the entry fee.
